Pencils

I suppose it's just my crazy ego but I love personalized things.

A while back I had a hankering for personalized pencils. I must have surfed a dozen websites that sold personalized pencils. It was fascinating. They come in all colors and textures. And if you order about a million each one is dirt cheap. I can see myself as the Johnny Appleseed of pencils, spreading pencils throughout the land and creating literacy everywhere I go.

You could make it a family tradition. You could give each kid 1000 personalized pencils for each new school year.

I admit to having an office supply fetish. Can a person really have too many stickers, pens, pencils, stationary supplies or staplers? I get a buzz every Sept. when the school supplies go on sale.

With any luck I can pick up notebooks at 10 for $1.00. There is just something about a new notebook that make me feel like a writer. A word processor just doesn't make me feel like that.
